They say untited we stand, yet we continue to fall, for every child woman and man, stays divided for all.
Yes yes it is true and we all know it. Equality is not equal, fairness is unheard of, and love is not blind. Diversity causes us not to be equal, it causes us to be unfair, and love is not blind because we are still loved due to the color of our skin. Malcom X once said, "So long as we practice brotherhood among ourselves, and then others who want to practice brotherhood with us, we practice it with them also; we’ll work for that. But I don't think that we should run around trying to love somebody who doesn't love us."
Who doesn't love us? Heh, how can you deny this lovely tone of skin? Whites maybe, Blacks who are oblivious to the ignorance of mankind because they don't like their own kind. It's not just Whites, it's our own kind as well, even Asians. One person told me, a Black guy, he said "This white guy punched me in my face. I din't know his reasoning so I didn't do anything." I, with my smart mouth, replied, "Well boy, I'm glad ya finally recognized yo place in the world, under us white folk, now next time ya betta call me Masa." I told him, look man "Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery." Dont't give me that bull about I can't because I'm a Christian, they have prison ministries.
But I digress, we are suppose to be African-Americans, yet, we sit here, and we do nothing about the lack of rights that we recieve. An American is a citizen that has rights due to the 14th Amendment, the Commerce Clause, Common Law, the Bill of Rights, etc. Though, from what I've seen, the Bill of Rigths have turned into the Bill of Wrongs. If you don't know your rights people will take complete advantage of you regardless of the law. KNOW YOUR LAWS, KNOW YOUR RIGHTS, AND KNOW YOU!. Once you know all of these things and take advantage of them all, then you have become a true citizen, and as a citizen, you will no longer have to stand for the "diversity" and "segregation" of this nation.
